MESSAGE FROM THE CEO

My 3-year-old daughter went back to school on Tuesday with a smile like the sunshine and her feet like that of a tap dancer. I am certain she does not yet understand the value of education as she is currently more concerned with playing with sand, painting and chasing butterflies. This is different for the 100 out-of- school junior secondary age girls ACE Charity will be sending back to school this month, thanks to our friends at Leadway Assurance Limited. At age 15 it is easier to understand the value of education and thus, will now be able to complete senior secondary school because of Leadway’s generosity.

It is not too late to Assist, Care and Empower a child who is already in School but needs your help. You can do so by donating an ACE Charity school bag to one of the 2549 children who use all five of our learning resource centers.

Thank you.

God Bless.

GRUB ‘N’ GIVE

Still thinking of ways to give back to the community as a business owner? This is a brilliant way to do so!  A massive thank you to Secret Garden for supporting this initiative. By being a part of this you will be making a massive difference in the lives of several children who benefit from our projects under our Education and Training focus, particularly our Learning Resource Centre (LRC). #SCHOOLINABAG CAMPAIGN

This campaign is still ongoing – thank you for all of your support thus far! September is here and a new academic session is about to begin. Fact is, several children will resume without necessary school supplies which is a major barrier to learning. With our School in a Bag initiative, we are bridging this gap one bag at a time. The supplies packed into the bag prove invaluable in improving learning outcomes for the most-in-need groups of our society. To support this campaign, donations can be made to the following account;

ACE CHARITY LEARNING SAFE SPACE- SOKOTO

At ACE, the majority of the work we do under our Education and Training focus is in Northern Nigeria to support other ongoing efforts to significantly improve education outcomes in the region. In addition to socio-cultural constraints, poverty remains a persistent socio-economic factor of poor education outcomes in Northern Nigeria.

In line with our focus, we have set-up our Non-Formal Learning Centers (NFLCs) in Sokoto State to deliver literacy, numeracy, and social skills to out-of-school children in communities within the State. You can also support the project by making donations to;

ACE Charity Africa

ACE Charity is a non-governmental organisation established in 2010 and is dedicated to creating a realistic and effective difference in the lives of people across Africa, especially women and children. We do this through our two focus areas; Education and Training, and Economic Empowerment. Under our Education and Training focus, we provide access to quality alternative education for disadvantaged and out-of-school children in Northern Nigeria through ACE Radio School and Safe spaces.  We provide access to quality education for public schoolchildren through our Learning Resource Centers. Under our Economic Empowerment focus, we provide rural women entrepreneurs with small scale loans through our Women MicroCredit Programme. We empower young women to start their fashion design businesses though our Business Empowerment for Women Programme. We also conduct yearly seminars, workshops and youth empowerment programmes.
