Introducing ACE Charity Radio School

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Federal and State governments in Nigeria have started a lock-down in a bid to curtail its spread in the country. We have designed and are piloting a learning intervention called “ACE Radio School” to engage public primary and secondary school pupils/students, most of whom are at home as a result of the directive to shut down schools.

This intervention is designed to use the radio as a medium to keep pupils/students learning and engaged with a focus on the following subjects: Numeracy; Literacy; English Literature and STEM. Instructions will be aired in English and local dialects (i.e. Hausa) to reach children in urban, peri-urban and rural areas
