ACE Charity Radio School

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Federal and State governments in Nigeria have started a lock-down in a bid to curtail its spread in the country. We have designed and are piloting a learning intervention called “ACE Radio School” to engage public primary and secondary school pupils/students, most of whom are at home as a result of the directive to shut down schools.
This intervention is designed to use the radio as a medium to keep pupils/students learning and engaged with a focus on the following subjects: Numeracy; Literacy; English Literature and STEM. Instructions will be aired in English and local dialects (i.e. Hausa) to reach children in urban, peri-urban and rural areas.

Our Work

How You Can Get Involved

ACE Charity trains Resource Staff to teach Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills

The Quality Education Through Learning Centers in Africa (QETLA) program uses the establishment of fully-functional learning resource centers as a medium to inculcate basic literacy, numeracy and ICT skills in children using diverse learning methods. ACE Charity hopes to establish 774 learning resource centers -one for each local government area- across the six geopolitical regions of Nigeria with expansion plans across Africa. So far, we currently have and manage LRCs across some states in Northern Nigeria.

ACE Charity trains Resource Staff to teach Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills. The trained Resource Staff are posted to select public schools and centers to train children and adults on these skills. ACE Charity also builds the capacity of organizational staff and volunteers to effectively discharge their duties, which involve producing curriculum, manuals and outlining a methodology for training classes and workshops

The objective of BEPW is to empower women with a sewing machine and tailoring skills provided for each participant, business skills, basic accounting and management skills which will enable them to gain necessary knowledge for establishing and managing their own businesses effectively and efficiently upon conclusion of the program

Healthcare still sadly remains a critical area of under development

The importance of health outreaches in bridging gaps in healthcare cannot be overrated, at ACE Charity we provide mobile healthcare services and treatments for Africans who are in dire need of medical attention through outreach programs in local villages and poor communities
