Volunteer with ACE Charity

What roles will I play as a volunteer?

What are the benefits to becoming an ACE Charity Volunteer? An ACE Charity volunteer is one who is happy to freely render their time, skill, services and work to solve social problems without the expectation of monetary gain. Anyone who is passionate about community service and wants to make a positive difference can be an ACE Charity volunteer.

If you are assigned a role at the ACE Charity Learning Resource Centre (LRC), you will be expected to work with the lead LRC staff in a supporting role, and ensure the day-day activities for the children who use our LRC’s are run smoothly.

If you volunteer during an outreach, you are expected to show up at the stipulated time and will be briefed by an ACE Charity staff on your role during the community outreach. If you are a skilled volunteer, you will be put specifically in your role of specialisation within the charity or during an outreach so we can leverage from your knowledge of experience and use those skills to strengthen and achieve our goals.
