Did you hear what he said? The African child is at the center of our vision as an organization. It’s vital that on this Day of the African Child 2021 (DAC), we show more of how we support the African child by empowering them. This year’s theme is “30 years after the adoption of the Charter: accelerate the implementation of Agenda 2040 for an Africa fit for children”, and today, we choose to remember millions of African children who have been denied their rights in one way or another. Today on #DayoftheAfricanChild , we call on our leaders to support the domestication of Nigeria’s 2003 Child Rights Act into law across every state in Nigeria.
